A fantastic World Championships experience starts with smart travel arrangements. On this page, you’ll find all the information you need to make your journey to Ostend as easy and comfortable as possible. Choose the transport option that suits you best and arrive relaxed at the 2027 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships!
Get the full World Championships experience by taking a stroll through the team park. You’ll see the riders and their campers and get a front-row view of their final preparations! You can then head through one of the entrances to find your favourite spot along the course.
Come to the World Championships by bike, avoid the parking crowds and enjoy a smooth, sustainable and relaxed journey. You can leave your bike easily and securely at one of the bike parkings listed below:
Come to Ostend by car, park away from the crowds in a Park & Bike zone and cycle the last bit to the event site. That way, you’ll avoid the traffic and get to enjoy the World Championships atmosphere straight away on your way there.
By train
The railway station in the centre of Ostend is about a 30-minute walk from the course. There are direct connections to Ostend from Kortrijk, Brussels and Antwerp. You can also enjoy a smooth journey between Lille and Ostend. Ostend is also easily accessible from Paris via Brussels (Thalys Paris–Brussels followed by the IC train from Brussels to Ostend). By coastal tram
The coastal tram offers an environmentally friendly journey along the entire coastline to the World Championships. During the winter months, the tram runs every 20 minutes. With 68 stops between De Panne and Knokke, there’s always a stop near you. At various stops, you’ll find a Lijnwinkel, where you can buy or validate your ticket or get further information. By crossbus
Depart from various cities in Flanders directly to the World Championships in Ostend! You’ll be dropped off and picked up at the shuttle drop-off point, right by the entrance to the event. That way, you won’t need a designated driver, you won’t have to look for a parking space, and you’ll travel with your friends or family in a cosy coach. In short, it’s a sustainable and hassle-free way to travel to the World Championships. The crossbus departs at fixed times, so your journey is perfectly planned from start to finish. Travelling by coach on one’s own initiative
Are you coming to Ostend with a fan club, an organisation or a group of friends, and are you organising your own coach? If so, you can book a parking space in advance. We provide a dedicated parking area for coaches. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the shuttle zone near the event site. After the event, the group can be picked up from there again.
You will soon be able to buy a parking ticket here for one of the car parks arranged by the organisation.
During the 2027 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Ostend, we are strongly committed to accessibility, so that all cycling enthusiasts – including visitors with a disability or specific support needs – can enjoy the event to the full. In collaboration with vzw Inter, we are doing everything we can to ensure your visit runs as smoothly and comfortably as possible.
