Ebema joins the 2027 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships as an Official Partner

Ebema joins the 2027 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships as an Official Partner. In January 2027, those sprinting for the world title in Ostend will do so on the Belgian company’s Eurodal® Cycle Path Plates. Ebema will be responsible for constructing the finish straight as well as a section of the course on the beach.

Ebema produces concrete solutions for public spaces, industrial sites and gardens. The Eurodal® Cycle Path Plates were originally designed for cycle paths, but are also perfectly suited to a cyclo-cross course. The slabs have no perceptible joints and can be installed quickly thanks to a thin foundation layer, limiting the impact on the site in Ostend.

Who knows, these World Championship plates might one day become part of a real cycle path. For some lucky cyclists, the road to school or work could then lead straight over a piece of the World Championships course

After the World Championships, the plates will get a second life. They can be reused, for example on a cycle path. “Who knows, these World Championship plates might one day become part of a real cycle path. For some lucky cyclists, the road to school or work could then lead straight over a piece of the World Championships course,” says Herwig Dessers, Marketing Manager at Ebema.
